Get to Know Camelback Mountain Resort (PA)

Camelback Mountain Resort is one of the top ski resorts in Pennsylvania and is less than three hours from New Haven. Camelback uses top of the line snowmaking equipment to ensure freshly prepared trails. Skiing in the Poconos Mountains at Camelback is an exciting experience for beginners and seasoned skiers. 

Getting There
The quickest way to get to Camelback from New Haven is by taking I-95 South for 48 miles. Then, take exit 21 for I-287 West/White Plains/Tappan Zee Bridge. Follow I-287 West for 30 miles until you reach exit 15 for I-287 South. Continue for 25 miles on I-287 South until you reach exit 41B. Next, merge onto I-80 West. Stay on I-80 for 44 miles; then, take exit 299 for PA-175 towards Tannersville. Make a right onto PA-715 North and follow Sullivan Trail to Camelback Road for about two miles. Then, make a slight left onto Resort Drive and follow to the resort. 

Rates
Ticket rates vary depending on age, length, and time of year. Lift tickets prices range from free to $78. Camelback also offers season passes from $ 199 to $599. Renewal season passes are offered at a reasonable discount. Camelback has one, two, and three-bedroom suites ranging from $290 to $550 during weekdays and $455 to $1125 on weekends. These lodging prices are subject to change depending on the number of guests, promotions, and time of year. 

Camelback Mountain Resort Information 
Camelback has 39 skiing trails with amazing features and beginner terrain for those who are just starting to learn to ski. The resort has three in and out restaurants on-site, Kartrite’s Summit House, Trails End Pub & Grille, and Berrelli’s Italian Kitchen. When you stay at the Camelback Lodge, you will be able to ski and tube for free as part of your stay. Other activates you can enjoy at Camelback are snowboarding, snow tubing, aquatopia indoor waterpark, laser tag, and more.
